I have been on the search for a credenza to go underneath my TV (which is mounted on the wall) for a while now...actually the search kind of stopped for a few months but I have been thinking about it again. Its been hard to find anything I like that costs less than at least $1000 so I have been thinking about a vintage piece, which isn't much easier to find. But I know its got to be out there somewhere! Any suggestions in the LA area ?
Keep trying craigslist. It is a gold mine as far as I am concerned, and try and look past how hideous things look in the photos and picture it painted with beautiful hardware! Also, that fifth image down you have is actually two rast hacks! Doesn't get much easier than painting two rasts black and adding some fab hardware :)

Omg. All of those consoles are so gorg. There is almost nothing better than a chic console with a killer mirror above it. Lovvvveee.

love those pics! There are tons that look like that in natural wood on Ebay and craigslist that you could paint and add huge brass rings to...do a project!

Try the Long Beach Antique Flea Market! If you go vintage, you can refinish or paint and add your own hardware which would be so cool!
