I adore the hippie chic feel of Nicole Richies House of Harlow 1960 line. So I couldn't be more excited when I saw that these cute little clutches were a new addition. Aren't they gorgeous? Perfect for a night out since they wont hold much more than the necessities. And they have a little bit of McQueen in them (but for a fraction of the cost), don't you think? I think thats why I love them so-because I know I cant afford a McQueen (I can dream)! Do you have a favorite going out clutch? All available on shopbop.
I have long been a lover of all things studded. I don't know what it is about studs that make me love them so-maybe because they are shiny? Hmm...whatever it is, I am all over them. And what better time than Fall to bring out your studs? They add the perfect punch for a night out-a studded dress, killer heels or a leather jacket. But look great during the day as well-on shorts, a bangle or a clutch. And how about for interiors? Love them there as well. How gorgeous are the studded pillows, the white studded doors and the studded zebra doors?! Studs dont have to only look "tough", they can be pretty as well ! Just look at all these "pretty" studded looks! How do you like to wear studs?
I cant believe that I am starting class again today (my last & final year)! This summer most definitely flew by, I guess thats what happens when you work six days a week? It was well worth it though! Don't worry, I had some fun mixed in with all the work! Back to school and Fall kind of go hand in hand right? But unfortunately (because ill be walking around campus for hours) it will still be in the upper 90's where my school is! Really not looking forward to walking around in the heat today! Despite the heat, Im going to pretend Fall is here. So here are my back to school picks from Madewell.
Today you can find me over on The Now Stylebook! I am sharing my celebrity style favorite! Can you guess who? Okay...its Olivia Palermo of course. Love how classic and chic yet "current" Olivia always looks. She always manages to create the perfect mix of classic pieces with trendy items while staying glam of course. She can seriously pull off anything! I don't know how she does it...maybe I need longer legs? Ha! Please stop by The Now and check out my Fall picks inspired by OP's fab style!
Leather, leopard, The Gap? Doesn't really sound like it goes together, does it? I was pleasantly surprised when I randomly stopped by the Gap website last night and found some not so "basic" pieces. I cant even remember the last time I walked into a Gap store. I have seen leather jackets at the Gap before but skinny leather pants and a leather pencil skirt? Not really what comes to mind when I think of Gap clothes! There are definitely some cute pieces in the new Fall collection. But for me, its really all about the fit. These pieces might look cute on the computer screen but cute only goes so far if it doesn't fit well! Worth taking a look at though! What do you think of the new Gap pieces?
Leather jackets are the ultimate Fall staple (at least in my fashion book). Definitely one of the pieces of clothing I am most looking forward to wearing again once it cools down a bit. Nothing looks better than the "perfect" soft squishy leather jacket-it goes with jeans, leggings, dresses, skirts...pretty much anything! Even an evening gown. Okay, you get the point-I LOVE leather jackets. I have a few but my two favorites are my All Saints Kadian jacket (from last Fall-#2 in my picks) in a taupey gray color and my black Joie jacket! I would love to add another leather jacket to my collection-maybe a slightly cropped style? Or a gorgeous camely brown? Or a Rick Owens (dream jacket)! Do you love leather jackets as much as I do?
I could not have had a better time on my end of summer getaway last week in Laguna. Except for the few overcast mornings-usually burning off by the middle of the day-the weather was gorgeous! I SO miss waking up to the beach every morning and now I know what a luxury it is to actually live at the beach (one day)! My days were mainly spent laying/walking on the beach and at night we would enjoy a meal out (after enjoying wine at sunset on our balcony overlooking the ocean of course!) and walk around the town. And most nights ended with the best gelato I've ever had! It was so nice being able to walk everywhere instead of having to drive. Here are some photos (photo overload..sorry!) from my trip and a few goodies I picked up while in Laguna!
