pink punch

Pops of pink always make me happy ! I don't easily tire of looking at anything in shades of pink! Even during the holiday season I am just as crazy about all things pink. Pink is obviously very girly but such a happy color as well! I think all the rain and gray skies are making me think about all things bright and cheery! Off to study some more for my last final tomorrow!

What better time of year than the holiday season to pile on all your favorite jewels? One of my very most favorite looks is to stack on the bracelets and create an arm party! J Crew has lots of great stackables and shopbop has an endless selection of bracelets as well!! Hope you had a fab weekend...I am off to take a few more finals today...ugh! Are you into the arm party look?

I could not be any more excited for the weekend! Even though my weekend is going to consist of studying, studying, a little more studying and hopefully getting a christmas tree! I can't wait to decorate and have it finally feel like the holidays. Hopefully your weekend will be a bit more fun filled! Finals week has begun which means I am in full on study, make flashcards and write papers mode (not really the most fun place to be). But luckily in one week it will all be over with! So please excuse my lack of posts and comments but its been a bit crazy the past few weeks. Im taking my first final today. So heres a short post with some pretty pictures of Nicole Gibbons home from So Haute as seen on the glitter guide. Isn't it cute? I thought so.

winter wishes

Its been a few years now since I have taken a trip to the snow and I think its about time to change that. Obviously it NEVER snows here in Los Angeles so I must get out of town to get my snow fix...Big Bear and Mammoth are both easy to get to from LA. I love being in a cabin in the snow with a nice warm fire and lots of cozy blankets. And its the perfect excuse to pull out the warm winter coats and heavy sweaters that I rarely get to put to use (it has been pretty chilly these past few days by LA standards though). Anyways, a little snow trip is on my list of winter break wishes...can you tell that I am counting down the days until winter break? One week left, just have to get through finals!

cool brights

Despite the fact that its Fall (almost winter now), I am seeing bright colors popping up everywhere...saw tons at J Crew over the weekend. And I think I'm liking it. Makes the cooler weather seem a bit less dark and dreary don't you think? My favorites are the pinky purple magentas and the bright blues mixed with darker or more neutral colors like black, gray and taupe. I don't wear brights often, more of a neutrals girl myself, but I would definitely consider a bright bag, a magenta sweater or even a bright printed top. What do you think about wearing brights in the cooler months?
