day at the fair

Last week when I was in Dallas, Albertina, Elizabeth and I got together for a day at the Texas State Fair. Our time was spent eating cotton candy and fried food, playing games and yes, we even rode some rides! It was nearly impossible for me to edit down these photos to the 14 below. Seriously, Albertina is an amazing photographer and Elizabeth was the most perfect model! Get ready for serious photo overload...

spring + break

My Spring break has officially sprung and I could not be happier! I am certainly looking forward to time off, not having to open a textbook for a week and getting some sleep! Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the weather in LA is really going to be up to Spring break standards (hot and sunny...prime tanning weather) but luckily I'm off to Vegas next week for a few days and will hopefully soak up some sun there. I never intended to take most of last week "off" from blogging but it just ended up that way due to all the school word I had to do! Sorry, but Im back! And all I can think about is Spring Break and getting away (pretty sure I have a bad case of college senioritis). I am in such a desperate need of some sun and a tan. Happy Monday!

winter wishes

Its been a few years now since I have taken a trip to the snow and I think its about time to change that. Obviously it NEVER snows here in Los Angeles so I must get out of town to get my snow fix...Big Bear and Mammoth are both easy to get to from LA. I love being in a cabin in the snow with a nice warm fire and lots of cozy blankets. And its the perfect excuse to pull out the warm winter coats and heavy sweaters that I rarely get to put to use (it has been pretty chilly these past few days by LA standards though). Anyways, a little snow trip is on my list of winter break wishes...can you tell that I am counting down the days until winter break? One week left, just have to get through finals!
