long-ing for a coat

Yes, I live in California and really don't have much of a need for a long coat, even a knee length coat for that matter but nevertheless, I am really loving this look. Now, what excuse can I come up with to justify purchasing a winter coat? I have my eye on this gorgeous number from Zara. Hmmm.

    I think you should get the coat...it does get cold enough to wear in CA :) At least I think so being very wimpy about the cold!!

    I totally wear my long coats in San Diego. I look a little ridiculous but at least I'm fashionably ridiculous!
