cocktail hour-society social style

With the launch of Society Social, I was reminded of the fabulous piece that is the bar cart! After flipping through their magalog how can you not want a bar cart? Pretty sure there is one in there for everyone-any color under the rainbow, metallic or faux python! A bar cart can add so much style to your living or dining area and serves as a functional piece as well. I am seriously longing for one now...and a certain faux python one at that! Thinking that it might work in place of where I wanted to put a console table...hmm, I have some measuring to do! Do you have a bar cart?

giddy for greek...key

Greek key...what is it about Greek key? Whether its a whole room covered in wallpaper, a rug or an accent pillow, Greek key is a pattern that one doesn't easily tire of. I love how classic, yet modern it makes a room. I would love to add some Greek key into my home...maybe a console table or a pillow (always the easy solution)! I really do LOVE the Greek key rugs but do not have a use for one right now. Any Greek key in your home?

fall-ing for FP

Despite the fact that I am spending the week at the beach, I know Fall is right around the corner which makes me excited for new Fall styles! Free People is always a favorite of mine and they definitely have not disappointed lately. I love that they offer great basics like tanks & t's, jeans and knits-as well as super trendy pieces for each season (all with a slightly boho vibe)! Definitely want to add a printed maxi dress and some gold sparkle to my Fall wardrobe! Really loving the tan leather jacket as well. What are your Fall favs?

Happy monday everyone! I am thoroughly enjoying my time at the beach...despite the slightly overcast weather (I am hoping it clears up a bit more for the rest of the week though). I have enjoyed laying on the beach (trying to get every little bit of sun that I can), walking around town and eating delicious meals out! Hope your weekend was relaxing! Here are some pretty things that are making me happy this week. Especially loving the scarf & knit sweater in the first photo and the super sparkly starfish necklace!!

laguna days

The day is finally here...I am off to Laguna Beach for a week of fun & sun with my family and bf !! My bag is filled with swim suits, light dresses & tops and way to many pairs of sandals! I simply cannot wait to spend my week lounging in the sun in Laguna. This trip will definitely be the last "hoorah" before summer is over and its back to school for me !! I seriously cannot believe how fast summer (and this entire year) has gone by. SO not ready for it to end. Any end of summer trips for you ? Enjoy the weekend!

fall-ing for emerald

Emerald green (let alone any shade of green actually) has never really been a color I wear very often or use in my house-have one silk top in emerald green and nothing for my place! But I have been seeing it all over and love how rich it looks...and perfect for Fall. And how luxurious does emerald green look with black & gold (which are obviously two of my favs)? Pretty fabulous. What are your thoughts on emerald green...loving it for Fall?

mad for minkoff

Rebecca Minkoff has long been a favorite of mine. Her bags are gorgeous so I was so excited when I saw (months ago now) that shoes, clothing and more accessories would be the next addition to  her fabulous line! Love how simple yet fabulous her line is. How amazing are the shoes...not sure which I love more-the bags or the shoes? Or both! Im pretty sure I NEED bags 1 & 2 and shoe #1 ! Are you mad for Minkoff like I am ? Which are your favorites?
