orange crush

Orange is such a great color to mix in with other neutrals and metallics. And it looks great with white and gray, which my room has a lot of so far! I still have not decided on the main accent color for the living room-think pillows & decorative accessories-but orange is definitely on my list, especially if its Hermes orange. I love the gorgeous orange Luxury Monograms pillow and the Z gallerie ikat pillows! These rooms are definitely inspiring me to add in some orange, but not to much orange though, just a touch!

coral & white - top five

This week I really want to work on finally getting the office together. So far not much has been done with the space (and its really starting to get to me!!) I have a new desk & chair waiting to be made pretty but not much else is in the room! My new white coral lamp will definitely add some fun...this lamp was such an amazing find...you will never guess where I found it, any guesses? Here are some things inspiring me for the room. (Its all white, I know...promise I will add some color in, maybe some shell prints and bright pillows?)

beyond sparkly

These shoes deserve a post of their own. I mean, look at them! I don't think they could be any more sparkly or fabulous. And the worst part, my size is still in stock at net-a-porter while most others are sold out...all I need is $3,295 and they can be mine! Sadly for now I will just keep dreaming. Some seriously stylish shoes, perfect for summer. I love the light and nude colors...they go perfect with a tan and just about any outfit. I would LOVE to add every single pair to my closet. And I wish I could spend time working on my tan this weekend but the weather in LA is definitely not feeling like summer just yet :( It better get warmer soon because I am ready to wear summer outfits and cute sandals! Are you ready for summer?

There does seem to be one common thread here and its the color red...which is surprising to me because red is not usually a color I am drawn to but it seems to be what I came up with for today! summer days

Ah summer break is officially here...the papers are written and all the finals are taken. I will be celebrating this week by working! Ha. I look forward to trips to the beach & soaking up the sun, spending time with friends, wearing bright colors, relaxing (hopefully!) and maybe even getting away for a quick trip (photo below of bf & moi last summer). Here is a peek into Suzanne Rogers' closet courtesy of The Coveteur. Definitely over the top & extremely fancy but fabulous nonetheless. How can you never resist a chance to peek into someones closet, especially when it is filled with beyond amazing designer pieces? The shoe collection is to die for, as is the McQueen. And look at ALL of those orange boxes...I can only imagine whats inside of them...hmm

Her pieces are amazing and totally inspiring and I love the bright yellow & orange mixed with the more subtle colors in this piece and am very inspired by them for my new place (which is coming along but not quite ready to share pictures just yet)!
