Lonny - March 2013

As usual, the new issue of Lonny is filled with way to many gorgeous things and tons of inspiration. Lonny's editor in chief, Michelle Adams' Manhattan apartment really stood out. Her space is an absolute dream. I love the natural color scheme with a few little touches of color and little bits of leopard. And, hello, that bedroom...I mean, I hardly have words. It's just that fabulous. Definite inspiration for my office which I am in the process of redecorating!

classically chanel

One of my (many) longstanding dreams is to own a "classic" Chanel bag. I mean, how much more classic can you get? It is the epitome of class and elegance. It is a bag that lasts for a lifetime and will never go out of style. Whether your wearing leggings and a cozy sweater or a ball gown, a classic Chanel will always look fabulous. A jumbo flap in black with gold hardware would be my pick. Any tips for picking the perfect Chanel?

The Hermes avalon blanket is one of the most iconic, classic and chic pieces around. How can it not "make" any room that its in? The blanket will literally work in any room you put it in and obviously adds a whole lot as well! I love the orange and pink combo but the classic gray and black combos are fabulous as well. Its a piece on my "forever wish list". Is it on your wish list as well?

trim the tree

I really can't believe that it is only a little over a week until christmas is here ! How can that be possible? I am only just starting my christmas shopping and don't have much time...thank goodness for online shopping ! The one thing I did do was get a tree last week and that has certainly made it feel more like the holiday season. I haven't done much decorating other than the tree. Have you decorated for the holidays? If I had the time to decorate more I would want it to look like this:

winter wishes

Its been a few years now since I have taken a trip to the snow and I think its about time to change that. Obviously it NEVER snows here in Los Angeles so I must get out of town to get my snow fix...Big Bear and Mammoth are both easy to get to from LA. I love being in a cabin in the snow with a nice warm fire and lots of cozy blankets. And its the perfect excuse to pull out the warm winter coats and heavy sweaters that I rarely get to put to use (it has been pretty chilly these past few days by LA standards though). Anyways, a little snow trip is on my list of winter break wishes...can you tell that I am counting down the days until winter break? One week left, just have to get through finals!

j crew dreams

In case you haven't heard by now, Jenna Lyons' magnificent Brooklyn townhouse is on the market and could be yours for only $3.75 million. If I had the money and lived in the area, I would seriously consider. I mean, could you just imagine living here? Because I know I sure could. Every single detail is pure perfection...from the gorgeous molding, lime fireplaces and those chevron wood bathroom floors. Please forgive me for being so MIA but NYC was a whirlwind trip and I didn't have a spare moment to update! Its such a fun city with so much to pack in to just a few short days! I am sadly back to the real world now and will return to regular blog posting !
