unexpected shine

We all know how fabulous metallics are for both fashion accessories and home items but I never really think about how amazing metallic clothing is as well ! Kind of like my love for metallic linen pillows or a duvet cover but clothes instead. Or how about a chunky knit metallic sweater? Pretty fabulous and perfectly appropriate for the holiday season. And a great alternative to a sequined top or dress (I do love a good sequined top though)! Do you have a favorite metallic piece?

dark black

Black doesn't have to be a completely dark and dreary color...it can be extremely chic and so very classic as well! I mean, whats more classic than a black crocodile birkin bag and it is definitely NOT one bit dreary at all. Black is definitely a staple in my wardrobe for the Fall and I find myself wearing it almost everyday. It can be very safe but equally bold and out there depending on what you do with it! I love how it pops in interiors as well...especially when paired with a bit of metallic. Just look at these gorgeous spaces and outfits! How do you like to use black?

white + gold

Black and gold is definitely a favorite combo of mine but white and gold (no, not white gold) is the perfect "lighter" alternative! White and gold is especially chic for the winter and the holidays...gorgeous winter whites with sparkles of gold (sparkles of gold are always good)! I cant believe I am thinking even further ahead to winter already but the holidays are seriously approaching pretty quickly!

shoe envy

I never tire of looking at gorgeous shoes...especially fabulous heels. I think I will always live in a dream world and wish I was the type to be able to wear heels every single day. Unfortunately, that doesn't really fit into my real everyday life. Nevertheless, I don't think I will give up that dream! While heels are usually reserved for going out to dinner or some sort of occasion out, I still LOVE them and wish I had a life that warranted wearing heels more often ! Do you wear heels everyday or save them for going out?

rows of bows

Among other fabulous gifts, I received two gorgeous presents that both have bows on them. I didn't even know I liked bows that much but apparently I do! I am in LOVE with my new miu miu bag (got it in gray, like the second photo) and adore my Prada bow flats (in the third photo) as well! Bows definitely add a girly touch but theres nothing wrong with that...I am liking them more and more (and still breaking them in)! Are you big on bows? Happy weekend!!
