black & white is just right

The black and white combo is nothing new but it seems to stand the test of time. The combination is classic, chic and looks great on its own or as a base with some color thrown in. It works for both interiors-bedrooms, living rooms, kitchen etc and clothing, shoes and accessories! The first photo is of my moms beautiful black & white inspired mantel! light the way...

I accidentally stumbled upon this site yesterday and boy was it a happy accident! I was not familiar with the arteriors home collection before and I definitely wont be forgetting them anytime soon. They have so many beautiful pieces (too many for one post) so this one is all about their lighting! These lamps, pendants and chandeliers are stunning...I would be happy with any of them but the first two are definitely my favorites. Which one is your favorite?

I have always loved geodes/crystals..in natural form, made into rings, lamps, sconces, bookends, etc! Cant get enough of them. Really love that they are natural but so shiny and sparkly ! The lamp is definitely a dream item! And the bookends are on my list...I am on the search for the perfect pair. The first two photos are of one of my moms many crystal/geode displays! LOVE them.

I am back...finally! I missed blogging while I didn't have internet :( (which finally got connected Friday but I was still so busy unpacking over the weekend). My move went well and I am SO happy in my new place...still setting everything up and waiting for my new sofa! Hope you all had a great weekend. CV Spring

Really loving the Cynthia Vincent Spring preview. I love the laid back, classic but stylish vibe to her clothes. I am in love with the long flair skirt (shown four times!) I have never been one to wear a long skirt but I am seriously considering it after seeing these looks. Every look is amazing, it was so hard narrowing it down to my absolute favorites but here they are:

top five - silver sparkle

I love metallics (as I have said tons of times) and I usually tend to go for gold but when I saw that Calypso was coming to Target, I knew I had to have the silver metallic pouf! Well the line debuted today and my boyfriend and I ran to two of our local targets until we found it and finally grabbed the last silver pouf (photo below of him with the beloved pouf)! I am so excited to find a place for it in my new apartment, which I am finally moving into on wednesday! Here is some other beautiful silver inspired inspiration.
